Working in companies that are run for the long term, putting their people and their customers first, is a pleasure, everyone wins. When companies are run for the short term the results are often the opposite. Dave and Gordon have experienced both which is why, when they started Ochiba in 2005, it could only be for the long term, with a focus on hiring and retaining the right staff and providing the right motivation to ensure that, as a business, we put our customers first. Because of this we are able to build and maintain strong relationships which enable both Ochiba and our customers to maximise the opportunities SAP Business One provides.
Gordon Wood - Director/Co-FounderGordon has been involved with SAP Business One since its inception and saw the massive potential in the solution and with Dave set about forming Ochiba. Heading up the Development team, Gordon draws from over 25 years of experience developing core solutions and working with clients to deliver additional product functionality. In his spare time Gordon is an avid fan of all motorsports and in particular Formula 1 and the 24hr Le Mans race which he has attended for a number of years (though we have doubts that he’s ever managed to stay awake for the full race!). |
Dave Worsman - Director/Co-FounderPrior to forming Ochiba, Dave has held numerous board level operational roles with other major ERP vendors on a local, regional and divisional level. With over 25 years of management and hands on experience of implementation and analytical experience to draw from, Dave plays a vital role in establishing clients requirements, sourcing the best solution along with the direction of business from a strategic perspective. Dave is a keen snowboarder and loves nothing more than to hit the slopes, often too literally and returns with the bruises to prove it! |

Julian Biggin - DirectorWith in excess of 15 years’ experience in the full lifecycle implementation of ERP & financial systems, Julian has also held a number of senior roles with other ERP solution providers prior to joining the Ochiba team. Julian is responsible for project delivery and resourcing, along with overseeing our in-house dedicated support team, and has expertise in many key areas of business & systems processes and is an expert in the area of Financials. Away from Ochiba, Julian is an avid motor sports fan following MotoGP and the World Superbikes, and likes nothing more than to get out on two wheels himself. |
John Palmer - Business DevelopmentHaving worked with a number of ERP solutions for over 15 years in both an implementation and sales capacity, John is able to interpret the key client requirements in order to formulate the best possible solution. John heads up the sales and marketing team at Ochiba and has a great knowledge of the SAP Business One product and add-on solution providers. Following a spell in the world of Rugby, John tends to participate in more relaxing sports and is currently working to bring his golf handicap down below 20 (with limited success!) |

Bruce Holden - Senior ConsultantBruce joined Ochiba in 2009 having previously worked with another SAP Business One reseller. With over 20 years in the ERP arena, Bruce has been responsible for countless implementation projects and has an invaluable in-depth knowledge of SAP Business One. As an active participant of many outdoor pursuits Bruce is a keen climber and can often be found in the Alps during the summer, we’re sure the vast varieties of local beers is also a factor in his choice of location. |
Sue Simpson - Training ManagerTraining is a specialist skill and having worked in a number of training roles during a 15+ year career, Sue is able to bring her experience to each implementation, allowing her to assess each individual companies training needs to ensure that users are fully up to speed with the product functionality as required. When Sue is not creating and delivering SAP training courses she can be found shopping at Meadowhall and lunching with freinds! |
